    Senior PO Infrastructure & Applications (Freelance) — MLOZ IT

    MLOZ is the shared IT department for several Belgian mutual health insurers. Managing the IT budget and investment priorities for the Infrastructure & Applications tribe, running the day-to-day roadmap with the teams, and coordinating engineers to deliver on time, on budget and with agility.

  2. 2025 – 2026

    Group CTO / IT Solution Manager — SPB Group

    Led technology across Europe's largest affinity insurance group — driving automation, AI programs, and two nearshore development centers.

  3. 2012 – 2025

    Product & Solution Manager — Proximus

    Launched Proximus Secure Net (cybersecurity, with Cisco) and the Banx neobank (with Belfius); managed Office 365, DaaS and e-commerce product lines for Belgium's largest telco.

  4. 2007 – 2011

    CTO — PycoGroup (now CBTW), Vietnam

    Ran a 200-person offshore development centre serving clients across 4 continents, including Coca-Cola, Sony, Microsoft and Unilever.

    Team Lead Project Manager — PycoGroup (now CBTW)

    Built and led a 10-person PM team across Belgium, France and the US; set up the New York office from scratch; delivered for L'Oréal, Coca-Cola and the European Commission.

Good to know before we start

No. Nolus Consulting is based in Overijse, Belgium, but engagements are remote-friendly.

Every engagement starts with a discovery call and a written scope before any work begins, so expectations are clear on both sides.

No fixed minimum — a short, well-defined assessment is fine. Most engagements settle into a few months once the scope is clear, and staff-augmentation setups can run for as long as you need the extra capacity.

Typically 2–4 weeks for ongoing or staff-augmentation engagements, agreed upfront in the written scope — enough to hand over cleanly, not enough to lock you in.

As a solo consultant, Nolus Consulting takes on a limited number of engagements at a time. Availability — part-time, full-time, or ad hoc — is confirmed during the discovery call, before anything is signed.

Yes. Many engagements are set up to complement an in-house team or an existing provider rather than replace them.

Yes. Confidentiality is standard practice, and an NDA can be signed before any details are shared.

Both. Some engagements are a fixed project with a clear end date; others continue as retained, ongoing support.
